She has worked with survivors of trauma and abuse, and has compassion for those dealing with medical trauma. She also has experience in the area of parenting adult children. Debbie was a Baptist missionary in Venezuela for 24 years where she worked in the field of counseling and had a part in establishing two children’s homes. She would say that her heart is still in Venezuela. She is fluent in Spanish and is pleased to serve Hispanic clients in NWA. In addition to counseling, Debbie is a professor for Liberty University in their Master and doctoral program in counselors. She has written several books on the topics of anxiety and recovery from sexual abuse. During her free time she enjoys playing tennis, biking, and playing the guitar.
