She enjoys using Nature Therapy and Expressive Arts modalities such as Sandtray, Psychodrama, and Dance/Somatic Movement with specific populations. With other populations, she gravitates toward Gestalt & Existential practices. Summer has utilized her skillset as a school-based clinician and within the clinical setting.

Overall Summer hopes to help people feel seen and understood while motivating them to become the best versions of themselves. She is grounded in giving clients hope for the future while honoring their present. Summer believes it’s essential to strengthen the connection with ourselves—mind, body, and spirit—to create harmony in all areas of our lives. She is passionate about advocacy work, creativity in counseling, connection, and expression.

For fun you can catch Summer traveling, dancing, staying involved in community theatre, crafting, immersing herself in nature, and spending quality time with her husband, family, and friends.
